It was more or less successful.
Well...at least we managed to make it to the car before little buddy had a total meltdown.
We went to TJ Maxx so mommy could get some new pants. (Nothing pre-pregnancy is even close to fitting - everything moved to different places, I swear)
And then we went to winco (a grocery store) to stock up on some food storage.
Henry also successfully changed a wet diaper in the front seat of the car. (Not an easy feat- this child's legs move 100 miles a minute)
We are also planning Bence's baby blessing. We'll have a bunch of family coming to visit including Mommo and Uncle Hiram. Bence will finally get to meet his cousin Peter who's only two months older than him. We'll be taking lots of pictures so stay tuned!
These pictures are just a few we've taken over the last couple weeks. We finally tried on the snow suit that nana bought little buddy, but it's a wee bit big. (His arms only reach the elbows and legs!)
My My... He is more and more beautiful every day! He does not look very happy in his snow suit. Can't say I blame him. That's the problem with mail order.... you need to live next door so I can see his size BETTER!

i don't know if it is possible for that baby to get any cuter! i still am dying to meet him. i know what you mean by nothing fitting right after having a baby. it is crazy what we will go through to bring those cutie pie's into the world!

ReplyDeletethings don't fit after a baby. that's why moms have so many pairs of jeans - some for early pregnancy, some for post baby, etc. our bodies change so much! my advice is to get as many good pairs at D.I. and Savers until you feel like your body has settled. no use wasting a bunch of money on clothes when you can make do (and probably find a decent brand) at a thrift store. and don't get me started on post baby boobs! ;)
